Low-maintenance efficiency

The simple, effective design of DMC winches minimises your maintenance costs. Rotating points are maintenance-free, gears are hardened and ground and capstans are mounted on a universal mounting flange.

Both electric and hydraulic winches have a pulling force of 5 to 40 tons. The pulling force of the capstans ranges from 3 to 15 tons. All our winches are available with line length and line force measurement, which comes in handy for escort duties in calm waters.

Standard, our towing winches have a pulling force of up to 30 tons, while anchor handling winches have a pulling force of 100 tons (with a braking force of up to 200 tons). Other (customised) specifications are, of course, possible.

Our hydraulic escort towing winches use an active haul-and-pay-out system instead of brakes, which is unique in the market. They can hold and turn the engine from zero to full speed with a variable line force setting from 10 to 100 tons on the motor. DMC winches are certified for escort operations in the toughest weather conditions.
