The 2DWK is an asymmetrical steering system developed for HD and XR rudder systems. With its heavy duty and maintenance-friendly design, this steering system is suitable for every type of inland vessel. The two double-acting hydraulic cylinders ensure reliability.

This steering system offers unprecedented steering capabilities especially in combination with HD or XR rudders. The 2DWK steering system with connection rod is intended for single screw vessels with twin rudders.

2DWK Steering System

With its in-house cylinder design, the Piston-type steering system guarantees reliability and high quality. This steering solution offers multiple options in rudder stock connections, rudder angles and cylinders, which makes the installation process efficient and space-saving.

The Piston-type steering system is available in standardised series with different configurations but can also be custom-built according to specific requirements. The torque range varies from 1 up to 425 kNm with rudder angles up to 65 degrees.

Piston-type Steering System

The Rotary Vane steering system is ideal for all sea-going vessels as well as superyachts and naval vessels. The high-end design consists of an integrated tiller and cylinder which generates the same high torque at all possible steering angles. It is safe to operate as it has only one rotating part. It also requires relatively low maintenance.

This system is available for steering angles up to 65 degrees. The wide torque range of the rotary vane gives greater flexibility in choosing the rudder system. The integrated tiller and cylinder are part of the actuator, which is designed to take the full vertical load of the rudder and rudder stock. This makes a separate rudder carrier rudder redundant.

Rotary Vane Steering System

The 4DWKK is an asymmetrical steering system developed for HD and XR rudder systems. This system is known for using three connection rods to control four rudders.

With its heavy duty and maintenance-friendly design, this steering system is suitable for every type of inland vessel. Two double-acting hydraulic cylinders ensure reliability.

This steering system offers unprecedented steering capabilities especially in combination with HD or XR rudders.
The 4DWKK steering system with connection rod is intended for double screw vessels with four rudders.
