Custom-built hydraulics project

It is no secret that we design and build hydraulic systems for all ship types, fully engineered, and fabricated in-house in our modern production facility in the Netherlands. Next to our standardised portfolio, we offer custom hydraulic solutions. May it be for steering gear, deck equipment, nozzles, bow thrusters, you name it.

The project in the photos is a one-off custom-built hydraulics systems powered by three 400V 110kW electric motor driven pumps. This integrated system will supply the hydraulic power for the entire deck gear (winches, cranes, towing pins, and capstan) of a workboat. A special technical feature is that the bow thruster will be powered by the deck equipment system as well, while normally this is done by a separate closed loop pump powered by the main engine.
