DMC Anchor winches are not designed to meet only the Class anchoring requirements. Our range of DMC anchor winches has been created to handle frequent anchoring of a vessel, especially when this may be a matter of necessity rather than choice. Examples might include waiting outside a harbor for the next tow or taking refuge behind an island from a storm with a tow attached.
Our anchor winches have the power to really pull and hold the forces at nominal motor torque instead of only being able to do that during very short periods of overload.
We are continuously extending our range of anchor winches, with and without capstans, while applying our philosophy of building them using high-quality, standardised parts to deliver cost reductions, proven performance and consistent availability of spare parts.
